This loan scheme is available through the National People's Cooperative Bank, credit unions and microfinance institutions. The funds can be used to rehabilitate the fisheries sector, retool and provide additional equipment for expansion or assist with the purchase of new boats. This is available to Fisherfolk and Farmers; Food processors; Marketers; Importers of fishing equipment; Exporters of fish, etc.; and Micro ornamental fish farmers.
